We met Swamy Rithdev at Patanjali in Haridwar, who walked us through the huge Auditorium, wellness center, herbal garden, Patanjali Research Institute, and Research lab, which gave us an altogether different experience.
The experience at the herbal garden was like being in an out-of-this-world wonderland, surrounded by beautiful landscaping and innumerable plants. More than a lakh plants documented and ready for reference serving as a database for researchers, which is also an ongoing work.
The full-fledged Research lab had several departments working on various research on potency, functionality, efficacy and effect of medicines at the cell level, etc. and Dr Vivek helped us understand the expansiveness and process followed at each of the department.
The ambiance within the lab put us into deep thinking as to how advanced and what level of work has gone down in the background.
A Memorable Day in the World of Healing and Tradition!
We had the honor of meeting Shraddhey Acharya Balakrishna ji the visionary Founder Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeet , Divya Yog Mandir Trust, and MD of Patanjali Ayurved Ltd.
We were privileged to present him with our books, Varmam - An Insight into the Ancient System of Healing (Volumes I & II), and share the knowledge of ancient healing with such a revered figure in the wellness world.
I also enjoyed the shuttle between these places in the local rickshaw which was amazing and brought back more life in me to explore more. :-)
It was a truly inspiring exchange of wisdom, tradition, and vision for holistic healing!
